Spinal Charcot's arthropathy is a rare condition that in the past has been associated with numerous conditions. Recently, the reported incidence secondary to traumatic spinal cord injury has been on the rise. The diagnosis and management of spinal Charcot's arthropathy is a difficult process. A systematic approach and case examples will be described. The pathogenesis, presentation, management options, surgical approaches, and postoperative considerations are detailed.
