Farhad Tabaddor, who succeeded Jozef DeEskinazi as the journal’s Editor in 2000, has recently announced his retirement from the editorship, which coincides with his retirement from Michelin. It is with gratitude for his many years of service to the journal that we note this milestone. Prior to his appointment as Editor, Farhad served six years as the Senior Associate Editor. During Farhad’s tenure, the journal has enjoyed a steady flow of contributions and has maintained its position as the leading publisher of scientific information about tires. The value of the journal’s archive has grown significantly, as online publication has made it much easier to find and access articles, both for Society members and for the general public.
