Willingness to pay (WTP) of population of counties with whooping cranes, by U.S. State in 2015 Dollars. We calculated population numbers (age ≥16 y) for counties in which whooping cranes are found and, using the percentages from Table 4, calculated the total number of crane watchers. Using avidity level proportions (Table 4), we calculated the total WTP for each county.
