Silvoaquaculture, the integration of mangroves with shrimp aquaculture is a sustainable brackjshwater farming model aimed at promoting environment-friendly aquaculture. lt is reassuring to see the mangrove trees planted alongside shrimp ponds, replicating a more natural habitat. Geospatial study of JCAR-CIBA indicated that mangroves in the country have increased significantly over the years and acts as a nursing grow1d for fish and shrimp besides providing several other ecosystem benefits.
