Urogenital disease scoring criteria based on intensity of urine scalding of fur around the rumps of male koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus) in shires of Queensland, Australia used to assess the severity of chlamydial disease. Classifications included: (A) Grade 0: normal fur; (B) grade 1: slight discoloration of fur around rump, evidence of mild fresh urine leakage; (C) grade 2: stained greasy fur covering the rump; (D) grade 3: stained, greasy, wet matted fur around a large area of the rump (Griffith 2010).
